Stomping
My rabbit stomps the ground with his back feet, trying to be as loud as possible. Is it just something cute and quirky he does or something else?

RE: Stomping
This is thumping. It's not quite as it was depicted in Bambi. It's a rabbit's instinctive way of signaling danger to other rabbits. So if he's thumping something has probably spooked him. My bun has done it three times in the 3 months I've had him, and all three times I haven't figured out the reason for his thumping. But you need to remember that they have very good ears and a good nose. I figure he just heard something that bothered him, or some scent wafted in under the door. I've also heard that particularly spoiled bunnies can thump in a sort of temper tantrum, like say if they're not getting their food at the time they're used to.
