Rubbing chin??
Great info here Cool
My daughter & I have a pet rabbit (she named him Mr.Bunny!). He was originally going to be a 4-H rabbit but she lost interest in it. Hes now a house bunny and we love him!
About a month ago he started rubbing his chin on things when hes out "exploring" the house. He is healthy & very friendly I just cant figure out what hes doing! He'll be out sniffing something, then rub his chin on it a few times, then he usually bites it or moves along. Doesnt really matter what it is (his cage, a book, whatever he finds "new"). He doesnt do this when he's in his cage, just when hes out exploring. Its not constant, totally random.

Does his chin just itch? Is he just being a showoff? Its nothing medical is it? He is a goof & has a fun personality-maybe its just his new "thing"//

Here he is-

I should add we do have a dog also. Could Mr.Bunny be marking his territory somehow?

RE: Rubbing chin??
Rabbit have a scent gland under their chins, although their scent can't be detected by humans. They rub their chins on things to mark their territory. Cute rabbit!
