New bunny owner
Hello bunny owners!
I really want to adopt a bunny, but I have a few questions before i feel 100% ready. Is it hard to take care of a bunny? I heard they can be smelly and poop a lot, any feedback or advice on this? I would appreciate any comments, advice, Im a bit scared because all the negative things I heard about having a bunny as a pet, but I really love them, just want to make sure I will be able to make my bunny happy and keep him/her healthy. |

RE: New bunny owner
Rabbits really are a lot of work. You have to have several hours a day to care for them properly and play with them. You can not leave them for a day while you are on a trip. They do poop a lot! you have to clean out their cage at least once a week, if not twice to avoid the smell. As long as you can care for them though , a rabbit is a wonderful pet and companion. Also be prepared to care for them 5-15 years. I respect the fact that you did not simply rush out and buy a rabbit because they are cute. Thank you and let us know if you get one! : )
