Lost babies
No, some human mothers can be worse. They will suffocate their baby, put them in a garbage bag and throw it a dumpster somewhere.

My point is this, I have read so many threads with rabbit owners who have no experience with rabbits at all. No research on the responsibility of pet ownership, even basics like what they eat. Let alone breeding! It is evident with 98% percent of the threads (questions) posted on this board with the exceptions of professional breeders. How many rabbit owners have ever had their rabbit\'s evaluated for a health check? How many rabbit owners who begin with \"I LOVE MY RABBIT\" and then ask should I take it to the Vet?\" even when they receive replies like \"Yes, take it to the Vet!\" and still do not? If they love their rabbit why should that question be asked? They would have already taken it to the VET! There is a common and ongoing theme going on here! If only animals could only speak and tell you of the pain and suffering they endure at the hands of humans!!

RE: Lost babies
Sadly most people think of rabbits as novelty pets. They think they are cute little animals that do not require much care and attention. Even though they might mean good, quite a few owners jump into the ownership without so much as opening a book on rabbits. It\'s really sad.. but unfortunantly it\'s the common thing. Sad
