IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!
I haven't gotten a rabbit yet because I have a special situation, my parents aren't together so I have to switch houses every friday. I had a hamster because I wanted a pet and thats the only thing that could get on wtihout having attention when I wasn't there. But since its passed(after a long life) I wanted to get a pet thats more fun and interesting, but I didn't want to leave it with my dad who isn't so great at taking care of animals(: So I considered taking it back and forth with me, but I'm not so sure if that would be a good idea. I would be able to pay a lot of attention, I've read alot about them and I know I'm up for the challenge. So what are your views on this?

RE: IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!
It could work, but it could also be very stressful to the bunny. Good luck

Try one of the smaller breeds...they seem to be a lot calmer and adapt better to change. Good luck...you'll have a great pet. |

RE: IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!
Those of us with show bunnies travel a LOT. It doesn't seem to bother the buns! Just make sure you invest in a proper rabbit carrier since you'd travel a lot. I would ask both parents if there could be a cage at each house, set up and waiting for Bunny. Keep doing your research, and good luck to you.
Best wishes, Jen |

RE: IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!
you'll need a pet carrier to bring your rabbit anywhere you go. but please REMEMBER, rabbit don't really like going on to a long journey and it can be very stressful especially a for a young rabbit. A stress rabbit is prone to a disease.
