Getting a second bunny have some questions
Currently I have one non neutered male dwarf, and im getting a new baby rabbit when they are ready next week. Should I put them in the same cage right away? Or will my male try and eat it? And is there anything special I need to give to this baby. Ive never had one so young before.

RE: Getting a second bunny have some questions
Keekers,
I am kinda in the same situation. I am wanting to get another rabbit and I have a 2 month old non neutered Minirex. I am wanting to get a Holland Lop that is about 1 month old. I asked the Lady I will be getting the Holland from (same Lady I got the MiniRex from) if I could keep them in the same cage. She told me that it wasn't a good idea because the older rabbit could try to mate with the other one or pick on it or even fight with it. So I would say it would probably be best to keep it in a separate cage. The lady I am dealing with has her own Rabbitry and is very experienced. I believe that I will go ahead and get another cage for my soon to be new Holland Lop! I hope that I have helped. Take Care, minirex |
