bathing a rabbit
my 6 yr old buck is humping everything in site and marking everything as well , his bottom has become a mess , we brush we do a small water rinse and washcloth wipe on his bottom side but the marking has become so bad that the bottoms of his feet and his butt is so dirty, stinky , and just nasty , the vet said i could use ivory dish soap diluted and work it around and rinse and blow dry gently , does anybody else no if this is ok or have any other ideas ,
he is in great health and plays and eats and poops like a machine but the boy has a odor that even his mother cant stand thanks |

RE: bathing a rabbit
I recently took my rabbit who is about the same age as yours to the vets because of the same problem!
The vet recommended using a special type of shampoo, one for rabbits! Apparently, it is suppose to reduce the smell, and improve hygiene but i haven't tried it yet! My vet also said that mines is in great condition, it's just a normal rabbit thing!
