babies dying or mom not taking care of them
I have three NZ Whites. 1 buck 2 does.
The babies died. I noticed that they were not moving on the second day. The doe had been going into the nestbox and setting like you would think the babies were nursing. I can't figure out what to do. The last time I bred both does with the same results. Help. |

RE: babies dying or mom not taking care of them
Watch the doe and the babies carefully, make sure shes nursing. If she acts as if she neglects the babies, put a dab of vanilla on her nose, and each of the babies noses. This should make her realise their her own, and she will care for them.
