Hi everyone,
I am in need of some assistance. My family and I have the sweetest Dutch Bunny named Loula. We received Loula at Christmas time from a friend who could no longer take care of her. Well, Two of my kids have developed severe allergies and asthma to our little Loula. After much heart ache and many tears we\'ve come to the conclusion that we have to find her a new home.

I don\'t want to just sell her and end up with her going to a home that won\'t love her as much as we do. She is almost a year old, litter trained and spayed. She loves the kids and plays with them everytday. She loves to jump around and also is great with other animals including dogs and cats. She has never once bit anyone, not even my two year old you will pick her up and carry her around the house.

Like I said, if there is some one that would take her and give her a good home and lots of love I would just give her to them for free including all of her things.

Please if there is anyone who could take her or knows of someone, please let me know.
I have attached a couple of pictures. She is in great health and like I said loves to play.

Thank you so much...
Emily Summer

Sorry to hear that you can\'t keep Loula. I understand how you feel as I also have allergies. I get allergy shots so I can keep my cats, but there are no allergy shots to help with rabbits. My doctor told me that when it comes to allergies to pets, rabbits come in second and cats are in first place.

I ended up putting my rabbits outside and building them an oversize cage with a huge dog kennel for a play yard. This arrangement works for me because I love to be outside, even in winter, but it is the wrong time of year to put rabbits outside if they are going to adjust for winter in my area of the country.

Good luck finding Loula a good home. Please don\'t advertise Loula as \"free\" outside of this site or she could end up as snake food. It would be best if you put a price on her of at least $10, and if you find a loving family, you can then drop the price.
I would put a price on her as well. Smart idea. If the new owner is close by or really really wanting a bunny for their kids maybe then you can work out a deal. I am willing to pay for my rabbits and I think that anyone that is serious about getting a good rabbit would. I would love to take your rabbit for you but I\'m down here in SD. I just picked up 2 more at the last rabbit show. With stopping to buy a new cage I ended up spending $60.00! LOL NOt a cheap hobby when every bunny is cute and gotta have it! LOL
Too bad you aren\'t closer Emily. Smile
Maybe keeping her outside would be an option. Then you could keep her??
Are you still trying to find her a home?
