I just got a bunny today. He is a dwarf rabbit, very young. I think he is sick. He has a runny nose and is sneezing a lot. He is also doing something that sounds like it could be a cough, but when he does it, it looks like heaving. It seems like he has a cold. Is this something I should worry about? Is there something I could give him? Other than that he seems fine, eating, drinking & playful.

Rabbits do not get colds, by the sounds of it your bun has what in england is called pasurrella,check with your vet. This cannot be cured and can be passed on to other rabbits that comeinto contackt with it. The short term treatment [ not cure] is antibiotics usualy a months course of a high dose. val [uk breeder]
