I have 20-30 rabbits. About 12 are caged and all the rest are free range in my yard, pasture, etc. It started with a swamp/knothead mix doe that my grandfather set free after he quit his rabbit breeding. After, someone set their pet buck free at our house. Not sure about the breed, but he\'s white with black spots and blue eyes (fur around eyes is black). All their children are different colors, from solid gray (brown) to solid black. There are even different shades of gray, some yellow/orange tinged. I have more bucks than does right now; the father apparently has a knack for producing sons. I have the mother caged with one of her babies. She\'s pregnant right now, will probably kindle in a few days at which point I\'m removing the baby to my second oldest doe, Misty. (She loves the babies.) In the interest of finding them homes, I\'m pretty much giving them away. They can be used for pets, food, or breeding. None have shown any signs of ill health. All stool, urine, behavior, eating habits, and physical attributes have been looking normal. Only two of the twenty some bunnies I\'ve raised have died, but they were the smallest of their litter.
