I give raw ACV to my chickens and was wondering if any of you use ACV in your rabbits water?
Is it necessary -or enhance their health & digestion?
PS. I ended up with 3 new Mini Lops -I went back an bought another ...I named them:
Autumns\' Whisper, Mohagany Rose & Crackerjack Diamond.
Yes ,many people claim apple cider vinegar helps the bunnies get in the mood for breeding.bluebird
Is it just a breeding thing -or can it be beneficial as a maintenance regimen? Because I use it the chickens water daily. ??

I know of people who swear by the use of apple cider vinegar for general health purposes as well as to improve breeding performance. Personally, I tried it and I really didn\'t see any appreciable difference.
The theory is that apple cider vinegar contains enzymes that help to digest and remove accumulated waste in the intestine and colon. This high level of enzyme activity is also supposed to help correct, over a period of time, long standing enzyme deficiencies by adding consistently to the enzyme reserve within the body. Breeding performance is supposed to be helped by virtue of the fact that the body systems need to be operating at healthy levels in order to optimize reproduction.
If your rabbits are generally in good health, I don\'t think apple cider vinegar is going to make much difference. It
might help if there is an underlying problem related to digestive function.
Long story short - it can\'t hurt, but don\'t expect miracles.

I did a 30 day trial on my chickens so I know not to expect a instantanious miracle --although they didn\'t *look* much better, I did notice significant differences in the eggs.
I also use it myself and put it in my house dogs water occassionally.
I just wanted to make sure it wasn\'t lethal to rabbits or they\'d blow up *grin* before starting a regimen.
