My poor Bun-bunn is certainly looking his age lately and I feel sad for him. It\'s drizzly and wet out so I brought him in to have alittle warmth and freedom of the livingroom.
Here\'s his story...my daughter\'s girlfriend said they found him on the side of the road -so they didn\'t know how old he was. They kept him about 3 years before offering him to us because the girl seemed to be bothered by allergies and added hair around the house wasn\'t helping. He was very well cared for but they just needed to find him a new home. So, of course, I took him -and I have had him for 2 1/2 years now. Will be 3 years in February.
He is a black Netherland Dwarf and just the sweetest boy I\'ve ever had. I will dearly miss him once he\'s gone.
He barely holds up his head and usually just lies there. (But that sounds like most lazy bunnies! LOL) So I often walk by and just tap his cage to keep him alert! LOL
He\'s eating and drinking and showing no signs of illness but old age. I just never had a rabbit last this long -I am just amazed at his determination to keep going.
Just sharing!
