Hi all I\'m Mary, I\'m new to this bunny site and I will more then likely have a few questions that I will need answers to.
Just the other day we got our frist bunny and I am not sure what breed he or she is and I am not sure of the sex... I think the bunny is female, i do not know how old she is.
when I bought her the person did not know the sex or the breed and they told me that she is about 3 months old. She seems to be in good health but I have to take her to the vets for a check up to make sure everything is good with her.

I will post pics of my bunny later on today
Look for pics later on tonight.

Hi all... I am happy to say that we have a baby girl and I\'ll be posting pics of her later today.
Congrats on your new bunny and welcome to the Board. Lots of great info here!
Hi Bunniemommie -welcome and welcome to your new little bunny. Did you pick a name now that you know what she is?
Mine are named Lacy, Charmer, N.Chanted, Lorelei and Bun-bunn.
They are really fun to have and I\'ve always had them as pets for over 30 years -at least one at all times! That\'s a must! They are just so sweet, easy and fun to be around. I was also born in the chinese year of the rabbit -maybe that explains my love for them! LOL Smile

Any questions???? Ask away......
Yes we have named our bunny. My little girl named her and has told me that it is her bunny not mine, my little girl named her Candice and Candice just happens to be living in my little girls room now. I have to take her to see a vet for I am not sure how old she is and what breed she is, and I want to make sure that she is healthly. The person that I bought her from does not know the breed of her and does not know how old she is he didn\'t even know the sex of she when I had asked. He told me that his mother bought the mother and father to my bunny when he was out and that his parents did not ask the people that they bought the rabbits off of the breed of their two rabbits nor did the ask the sex of them at that time, some the person that I bought my bunny from does not know how old his rabbits are and when the mother rabbit gave birth to my cute lil bunny he did not know when she (my bunny) was born he told me that she is about 3 months old, to me she looks to be about 1 1/2 to 2 months old. Could you be able to tell the breed by looking at a picture?
I will try to post some pictures of her on here now.
Thanx for your help.
Mary

P.s. how do I post pictures on here?

I am not that technically inclined to be able to post a picture so can\'t help ya with that -sure others can! LOL
Sure could tell from the picture unless its just a mutt. If he breeds rabbits he should have a general idea of what kind it is I would think. Thats a shame people don\'t pay more attention to the animlas that they are letting uncontrollably breed. Then there are others of us who are so careful and still are having a time trying to have one good litter. Isn\'t that the way....Your daughter must be thrilled to have her new bunny sleep in her room! If your daughter is young make sure she is supervised while taking care and holding the bunny -they have been known to be loved to death! LOL
Personally, the only time I bring my rabbit to the vet is if they have a major problem. We could probably tell you from experience what to look for in a healthy bunny. Clear eyes, no mucus, round solid stool, straight teeth, fur texture is a good indication that the rabbit is eating properly, things like that...
Can\'t wait to see a pix. Good luck with her.
If you have a digital camera download the pic to your harddrive on your computer then upload to a site like photobucket.com - that will give you a link that you copy and paste to this site

Very cute -she looks like a creamsicle!
But she [i]doesn\'t look like she\'s 3 months old. Alot younger than that. In my opinion. Anyone?

Good Luck with that cutie! Smile
