Silly question maybe do rabbits in the wild prefer using the bathroom in elevated positions or is Blaze just strange? He was using his hay mangerand since I moved it hes not but I see a few pellets in his food dish as well as the litter tray?Is this normal or should I quit dumping a whole bowl of food for him after he does this?
It\'s definitely a rabbit thing. If the rabbit can get into the food dish, they will poop in it. To minimize this, instead of a food bowl or crock, use a hanging feeder that is attached to the outside of the cage. (When my bunnies are small, they can still manage to get in the trough and \"do their business\", but soon, they get too large and the feed stays clean.)

Also, to minimize waste, try limit feeding Blaze. Contrary to what some believe, a rabbit does not have to have food in front of it at all times. Blaze will probably do well with 2-3 oz. of pellets per day. Hay available in the manger will give him something to nibble on.

so something like this gravity feeder would might help http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Pr...=2007+2012

and should I get something for furballs for him or are they diff than domesticated rabbits in that area too?
That feeder will work fine. You know...furballs shouldn\'t be an issue with a proper diet with adequate roughage.
