I have a holland lop who has taken to sitting in the sun and now her black fur has faded. Can I do anything to fix that? We have a show in just under 4 weeks.

Unfortunately, no there is not. You are going to have to wait until the current coat is shed. In the meantime, you will have to make provisions for excluding the possibility of direct sun hitting the coat of your rabbit or this will be a never-ending problem. (I\'d be leery of direct sun regardless due to the risk of heat stroke.)

Sounds like you\'re taking a chance by leaving her in the sun.
Even if she enjoys \'sun bathing\' I would completely cover the top of the cage and hand her a marguarita instead!

Her cage has plenty of shade there is a small amount of late day sun in one part and she lays in it. I don\'t know why.
