i just got a new rabbit and i dont know what sex it is.
the people i got it from dont know either.i just need to know how to tell what sex it is.
Gently flip the bunny over onto its back by first placing your hand over the ears and grasping the loose fur around the shoulders and cupping the other hand behind the rump for support. With the bunny on its back, take the hand you used to support the rump, and depress the genital area to expose the sex organs. On a young buck, the penis will protrude and appear circular with a small hole in the center. (An older buck will appear obviously male as the testicles are usually quite evident.) On a doe, the vulva will appear as a slit and be depressed somewhat towards the tail.

im a little confused as when i had a look i saw two pink things on each side with littke things that stick out by the bum does that mean its a female
How old is the rabbit? \"Two pink things on each side...\" sounds like testicles to me. (Which would mean your rabbit is a buck.)

my rabbit is about a year old. it also on the end of the pink things by the are little bits that look like nipples do all bucks hav the little nipple thingys?
yeah bucks can have nipples to i wish they didn\'t then it would make it easier to tell a boy from a girl
