Your rabbit should have hay to eat at all times. Timothy hay is the best, but any grass hay is fine. Alfalfa hay will make your rabbit fat, so stay away from alfalfa hay. Most pellets have alfalfa in them, so only give your rabbit a limited amount of alfalfa pellets twice a day. It should say on the package of pellets how much to feed your rabbit. If your rabbit looks fat, just cut back on the pellets. As long as your rabbit has good hay, she won\'t go hungry. Rabbits need to chew on hay almost constantly to keep their teeth from overgrowing.

What kind of rabbit is she and how old ??? because if she is young and fairly large breed she will want to eat to grow as big as she needs -w/o being overfed.
Don\'t keep feed in her cage. Feed her in the am and in the pm -then remove her dish after a half hour. This way she isn\'t tempted to keep going back because she\'s bored. Maybe put some \'toys\' in there to keep her occupied. Mine have been enjoying tipping over their ice bucket & throwing the bucket around. Thank goodness for an autimatic ice machine on the fridge!
