The other day I was brushing my rabbit suddenly what I see a kind of dandruff flakes on her. Could the dandruff be because my rabbit is on a strict diet programme for the last six months or so?
She must be about eight years old. If anyone has an answer to this please revert back.
what are you feeding your rabbit ?
sometimes dandruff is from lack of water and sunlight.
other times lack of cleaning ones self (lazyness)
My rabbit had flakes and bald patches on his back. I took him to the vet and i she said that it was an allergy and he had to get a jag on the back of his neck, she said that it mites (don\'t worry it is something that all rabbits have). She said that it just takes something to set it off. My rabbit just need a three week course of injections on his neck. The injections are not expensive. This might not even be the problem with your rabbit. Just thought i would let you hear my similar experience.

We bought a rabbit once and it had alot of dandruff also, it ended up being fur mites. He was treated with Ivomec injections that we did ourselves and it cleared right up. Charlcie was a help with the right dosage and the right medicine to buy. Hope that this helps.
