Put the nest box in today and my Dutch jumped in and started to pull hair I can feel little balls in the belly area so how long do you think it will be before she has the kits by my count it should be 3 more days this is our first litter and seems to be taking for ever thanks

Mine pulled hair -then I put the box in and by the next morning there wee 6 kits! Never know!
31 is the norm but I guess every rabbit is different. Keep your eye on her. I usually check in the morning because they generally have their young in wee hours.

I\'m beginning to lose hope on my doe! She\'s due like NOW!
She\'ll probably have them right on schedule, but often large litters can come a day early and small litters a day or two later than the due date.

Midnight has kindled on day 31 both times. The first time was early in the morning and the second just after noon. And I understand that forever feeling. We are currently waiting on two litters. Cloud is due on 7/1 and Honey on 7/4. And yet once they are born, time goes so fast and they grow so quickly. Popcorn is nearly 3 months old already!
It is 9:05 and still no kits

Make a pot of coffee and go sit and wait -or is it boil water?!
0740 and she still has not kindled but she did soil the nest had to clean that up hope she dont keep that up
At least she\'s in the nest -that\'s a good sign.
