Just thought I\'d say Hi and introduce myself. Maybe it would be neat to have an intro section!

I\'ve always had a rabbit -at least one, as long as I can remember. Right now I have a very old ND buck and very young ND doe (Recently got) , a NZ white doe (1 year old), and 2 DH. I just got them and I\'m thrilled to get into this breed. Those eyes have always intrigued me -and I was fortunate enough to find someone who would part with 2 of theirs!
I\'d like to get into a little showing perhaps -not sure, just having fun with them right now!

I think you will have fun with the showing...I do. I used to raise the standard Hotots years ago. The eye markings are indeed captivating!

Hi. My daughter is the one that got me into rabbits. It started when our cat injured a wild rabbit and we tried to nurse it back to health without any success. So...she really wanted a rabbit and we started with 2 Mini Rex, added 2 Holland Lops a year later and just recently had 7 Mini Rex kits. We only kept 3 of the kits and sold the other 4 to the coop. Now I like rabbits just as much as my children. My 2 oldest children show their rabbits and are involved with 4H.

I guess the best way to get into it is to find a few shows in my area and just go and ask questions. I know I just missed one.
I had wanted to get into it years ago but with little kids ~you know its hard.
I raised New Zealand white in 4H and enjoyed them - not much of a challenge, though! LOL
I bought a bred doe (DH) so I can\'t wait to see the \'results\' of this litter!
Glad you know alot about showing them at least I have \'someone\' to ask!
