[font=Arial] I work at an animal hospital and a rabbit about 5 months old was dropped off before hours and left to a \"good home\". I decided to take her in, I know how to care for her, but I was wondering about maybe showing her because she is such a pretty rabbit. That part I have no idea about. I do not even know what kind of rabbit she is. Can someone help me with the showing, the breed, anything??
Showing rabbits is a great pastime. (I\'ve done it for 42 years.) Do you have a picture of the rabbit that you can upload? That might give us some clues as to breed. I have an article on showing on my Website...
That should give you the basics as to what\'s involved. The American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) allows you to do a search from their Website for shows that might be coming up in your area...
You might want to visit a show first, talk to breeders (even bring your rabbit along if you have questions). Most rabbit folk are friendly and willing to help.
Good luck.
