Hello!
I just found this board today. We have 2 beautiful Dutch rabbits, a boy (black & white) and a girl (gray & white). They had a litter yesterday. This is the third time for them, but the first successful litter. The first one it was a bit cold and she scattered them. The second time I can only think they were cannibalized, she pulled hair and we saw the placenta on the floor, but no bunnies...though there was no blood either...anywhere. We thought maybe she miscarried and reabsorbed them? Anyway, this time we separated them with a divider in their hutch for a few months to be sure she was more mature. The first 2 times she was under a year. She\'s now about 15 months and so far a wonderful mama...even in just these 2 days....we see full bellies and they\'re all snuggled together, she\'s also a bit protective. We\'re thrilled. We\'ll get them both fixed soon.
Wow, the babies are just so adorable! I\'m so glad to find this board so I can learn lots from all you experts!!
Blessings,
