Our doe Cloud will be six months old on June 5th. I have not breed her or had her around our buck at all. The only rabbits she has been out to play with are our doe Midnight, Midnight\'s baby Popcorn (not even 2 months yet) and Cloud\'s sister Honey.
On Monday we rearranged the living quarters for three of our rabbits. Midnight went back to the barn, Popcorn moved into a cage in my son\'s room and Cloud into the hutch Midnight had been using.
Here\'s the interesting part. Since Cloud has moved into the hutch, she has built a nest and started lining it with fur. Any chance the smell of Midnight\'s litter being born there back in April putting Cloud in this cycle? Or do I need to double check that her sister is her sister and not her brother? Even though we think Popcorn is male, isn\'t he too young at 6 weeks to have fathered a litter?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
