ok this may sound stupid but can rabbits have seeds such as canary type seeds? I ask because I raise cockatiels so I have seeds and bird pellets galore all the time and was curious if he could have some of the seeds that the birds eat as well as his timothy hay, alfafa, pellets, and formula still trying to convince him pellets are food too and water tastes as good as the formula hes eating the pellets better since I ignore him for a little while when hes begging for formula Rolleyes
No, it doesn\'t sound stupid. Millet (I\'m assuming this is the main component of your bird seed mix) has about 10% protein value and 75-88% TDN (Total Digestible Nutrients). It won\'t hurt the rabbit. I wouldn\'t offer any more than 20% of his total food intake, though.
