My little lop mix girl has 3 litter boxes---one in her cage and 2 in the 12x16 playroom/birdroom (She lives with my 16 parrots). She always uses her boxes to wet but half the time she just scatters \'skittles\' everywhere! Is she marking her territory? Just too lazy to visit the box? Any suggestions?
I don\'t have an answer for you but can tell you our Cloud and Midnight do the exact same thing. I read to put a \"sample\" of thier droppings in the litter box for them to smell and draw them to it. We do that each time and it hasn\'t worked yet. So I\'m interested in the responses you will get to this as well.
Unfortunately, the leavings of little \"bunny marbles\" wherever they may be at the time, is just part of rabbit behavior. The fortunate thing is that unlike dog or cat droppings, rabbit feces are pretty easy to deal with, but deal with them you must.

rabbits normally put the \"wet stuff\" in the boxes. the poo is less likley to get to the box, because they poo while they walk sometimes...
Guess we\'ll deal with the poop and be grateful the carpet\'s not wet! BTW---Is there a better litter for her box than \'critter litter\'? Or an additive to minimize the strong odor? She\'s not old enough to spay.
