I am new to the board and have a question. I am now up to 4 rabbits and 2 of which drink more water then I can keep up with. They are outside in hutches but when it gets hot in the summer I want them to have free access to water all the time. When the bottles run out they have to wait on me to get more water and if I am not home it could be a while.
So I am looking into an automatic water system. I am not sure what I want or what is best. I have looked at the pressure regulator and the pressure breaker tank. There really isn\'t much info on how each works and what is needed to get it to work so any help as to what is a good system either what I mentioned or what you all use would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
I spent a LOT of time last summer trying to figure out an auto water system. A difficult task from small photos on the net and in catalogs. What we finally ended up with was a gravity system into 3/8 inch flexible tubing. It was WONDERFUL! Unfortunately, it wasn\'t going to work for winter (which we knew at the time, we just wanted to get something for summer). We got so spoiled with the auto waterer, that I\'m now looking at a new PVC design that can be kept \"warm\" for winter weather. Last summer, our water system went to 6 rabbits. Our new one will be designed for a 15 hole set up.

If you\'d like more details, please drop me an email, and I\'d be more than happy to give you more info.

Kelly
