Hello!
I am thinking of purchasing 2 female rabbits from my local Agway - one of their employees breeds them. However, it would take much effort to convince my husband so I want to make sure I really want them beforehand
I have 2 boys, 3 and 1 yrs, but would not let them handle the bunnies until they are much older. I\'d like to keep them outside (that would be the major selling point for convincing my DH), but we live in coastal MA so I am not sure if that\'s ok or not. The rabbits are small but I don\'t know the breed. The woman at Agway said they wouldn\'t get much bigger than they currently are which is pretty small, IMO. I\'ve had an indoor cat before and grew up with dogs but I have had no experience with rabbits. How do they compare, care-wise, with a cat (if you can compare at all!). Am I just setting myself up for a lot of extra work? My eldest really liked them and spent 45 min just talking to them at the store! My husband doesn\'t want any indoor pets, so I was thinking that maybe this would be a good option. Thoughts? Thanks for any help!
