I know this may sound dumb but i think my rabbit is lazy or something but the has one ear that flops down and once in a while she\'ll have them both in the air again. is this normal?
Ken:

It\'s nothing to worry about. Sounds like your rabbit has a degree of poor ear carriage. The cartilage at the base of the ear is weak allowing it to lop over. Sometimes, when rabbits like this are in an alert mode, the ear wil come up, but at rest, down it goes.

This would only be a problem if you wanted to show or use the doe for breeding pure-bred bunnies. As a pet this should be of no consequence.

Good luck. Smile

Our one lop bunny has the opposite problem. At this point, both her ears should be down by now just like her sister\'s. But Hopper has one ear still straight up!. It\'s so cute!
