at what age is it possible to sex baby rabbits.can you tell when they are 11 days old if you know what you are looking for?

Yes, you can sex bunnies as young as one day old, but it takes experience, good eyesight, or a STRONG magnifying glass.

I usually sex mine initially at about 2 weeks, but I always go back and check in another week or so, and double-check things at weaning. In my opinion it is easier to mistake a buck for a doe than vice versa. Bucks with hypospadia (split penis) are often taken to be does. The condition can go unnoticed for quite some time and usually gets found out on the show table or when you turn that \"doe\" over to check things out before breeding and discover \"she\" has testicles!

Sexing rabbits is not as easy as some say.i had a dwarf on the show table last year i looked at it and 2 judges couldnt decide for sure the sex.it was 3 months old.bluebird

well all the rabbits are old enough to sex properly and i was right they were all that i thought they were going to be lol
