Hi all.
As I write this, my heart is just totally broken. On Sunday, my mother - surrounded by family and friends, passed away. We were all sad to see her go, as we will miss her terribly, but know she is in the arms of God and will have no more suffering.
Monday morning, I received a call from my 18 year-old son, Devan, that his father, my husband Dennis, had died in his sleep. I am still struggling to believe this. It seems like a nightmare. Thank God my co-workers were able to rush to be with my son as he dealt with the paramedics and police and waited for my brother to drive down from Anderson Island, WA to be with him.
My mother\'s funeral is tomorrow. My brother, sister-in-law, and Devan are flying in to Ontario, CA tonight for my mother\'s services after which, Devan, my oldest son Chris, and I will fly back to Oregon to make arrangements for my husband\'s services. I do know that my husband is with my mother, who he loved dearly, but this is still all so very hard.
It may be a bit before I get back to this board, but I will return. I\'ve never met you wonderful folks, but I feel as though we are all indeed friends.
God Bless.
