My bun loves to tear up phone books. She digs through them and shreds the pages. Also, I gave her an old sheet and she loves to dig and fluff the sheet, then flatten it out with her front paws.......then the craziness starts, 180\'s, flips, jumps, speed racing around the room. She is crazy about animal crackers also.
Petey has an old towel that he will fluff and \"iron\" occasionally. I notice, however, that after he does this stuff with the towel, he not only gets playful but also a little aggressive! Sometimes he\'ll even push and nip if we are near-- nothing scary, but I wonder what causes that!

The speed racing around the room is too funny isn\'t it?
We buy cereal at Sam\'s Club and it come in a bigger box. When the cereal is gone, I put the big box on the floor for the bunnies. They love to shread it, play in it, climb on it and jump out of it at the other bunnies. This also includes all the fun you mentioned. Midnight doesn\'t fit in it, but she\'ll push it around and shread it too. I never thought to give them an old towel or sheet. I\'ll try that this weekend!
My rabbits are outside with a large fenced in area, giving them plenty of room to run. I give them tree branches to play in, stools to sit under and tubes to run through. They memorize the pattern and Chewy maps out an obstacle course, and it is great entertainment to watch what he does with it. I mix up the yard once a week, just to give them something new to work on. This also seems to prevent them from digging.
The outside pen sounds great. As I live in an apartment, that is not an option for me. I live on the third floor with a nice balcony, and I leave my door open so my bun can slip in and out at her will. She is trying to make friends with the squirrels that come to feed, but it\'s a slow process. She has her own butterfly chair that she lays in.
