has anyone heard about hipnosis on bunnies. i have tried on mine and it works very well on it. the rabbit has become calm and relaxed. wonder how it works. are there any long term effects of hypnosis on rabbits?.

I don\'t know about hypnosis, but acupuncture is recommended by my vet as a way of caming them down. I have never tried it.

Sam, can you describe how you hypnotize your rabbit? I just want to make sure I know what you are talking about.

My daughter can hypnotize any rabbit if given enough time and a quiet place to do it. She starts out by gently stroking their heads and face and then the lays them down in her lap on their backs. Once they start to relax, she starts stroking then down the sides of the face. Before long, they will go limp and \'\'be out of it\'\'. It is really remarkable. She will do it with her rabbits at shows that are looking stressed. She just picks them up to \'bring them to\'.
