My rabbits like to much on Crab Apple twings. Someone gave me a little Crab Apple seedling and I planted it, hoping it would grow into a beautiful tree. A Cotton Tail came along and chewed off the top of it. I was going to dig up the stump, but I noticed a lot of sprouts growing out of the top. I put chicken wire around the stump to keep the wild rabbits away, and now my little tree is growing into a beautiful bush. One of these days, I will be able to harvest many twigs from my beautiful Crab Apple \"bush.\"
Hmmm. I do love the rabbits and wildlife, but I have to admit, many of my beautiful plantings have \"disappeared\" for dinner I guess.

I have a little plant called \"pinks\", and last year it had at least 35 beautiful pink carnation-like flowers all over it. The next morning it had 2!!! Oh my gosh I was so frustrated. Somewhere gazing from the bushes, I\'m sure, was a giggling cotton tail!
