This morning my son brought one of the bunnies to the breakfast table. He does this most mornings and the bunny will play on the table while my son eats. Right now I have a vase of carnations on the table. The bunny promptly stood up and started to nibble on the carnations. I removed Hopper from the carnations and she immediately returned. Hopper was then returned to cage. My question is this - are carnations poisonous to rabbits? So far she is showing no signs of distress. Thanks for the help.
Well...Carnations are not a recommended rabbit food (but they\'re not on the poisonous list either). If your bunny is not showing signs of distress, I wouldn\'t worry too much.
The following flowers
are edible: borage, calendula, day lily, dandilion, geranium, lavendar, marigold, nasturtium, rose, violets.
