I know you are excited about getting a rabbit, but it sounds as though you aren\'t really set up for it. Maybe you should wait and find a good book on caring for a rabbit. Most books tell you all about feeding and house training as well as rabbit-proofing your home.
When we decide to have a pet, it is important to understand that it is a big responsibility. Pets can be fun, but they are also a lot of work. It is our job to make sure they are happy and well-cared for. It is sad, but so many rabbits that started out as someone\'s pet, end up getting sick or left at an animal shelter because their owner didn\'t or wasn\'t able to take good care of them.
I hope you\'ll think about this and when you know you\'re really ready,
then bring home a rabbit.
