\"I know the PAWS bill was defeated, but I would like to know more about that too. Maybe someone should start a new thread on the Paws bill so the subject doesn\'t get lost at the end of this one.\"

So glad to get confirmation of that (concerning PAWS). However, there are many anti-breeder laws and proposals out there that people need to be aware of. Groups with AR agendas, just won\'t stop until they get their way.

Since these groups tend to make statements in support of their proposed legislations that most, on the surface, would not disagree with, it behooves each and everyone of us to NEVER take at face value ANY proposed law (animal-related or not), but make an effort to look into the content of the entire text.

You\'d be amazed at what some groups and individuals will try to slide past the public.

Thanks for the information. If you find some good web sites on this subject, please post.
Oops...PAWS is NOT defeated. The American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) has just posted info on their Website regarding the latest on this bill...

Please, folks, contact your state representatives and let them know you oppose the PAWS legislation.

To write your representative, you can go to: http://www.house.gov/writerep
So hrs may also be taking a stand on it?
It sure looks like it, doesn\'t it? I can\'t believe that ARBA and the HRS would be on the same side of anything!
