Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing well.

I have been wondering about \"re-training\" my bun bun to use his litter box INSIDE the hutch vs. taking it out for him. He spends the majority of time outside of his hutch and has a specific spot I place his box. Box there or not (sometimes I forget! oops!) he goes right in that spot. Not sure if that means he\'s extremely WELL litter trained or if he is just plain lazy!! Anyhow, he is great about using his box but he makes SUCH a mess with the litter. Honestly, I get so tired of vacuuming his room EVERYDAY! Thought his room might stay clean for longer periods of time if he learned to use his litter box in his hutch. Is this something I could do or is it to late to \"re-train\" him?? If I am able to do this, any suggestions on the best way would be ever so appreciated! Thanks a bunch you guys! Julie
I have the opposite situation going on here. Our Midnight would go back to her cage to go the bathroom even though she had to jump up about 24\" to get into the cage. We got her a litter box for when she is out. Sometimes she\'ll use and sometimes she heads back to her cage. Hubby is in the process of building her a new indoor hutch and she won;t be able to back inside as easy. So we thought we would get her litter trained now.

I put a small foot stool in front of my hutch for my rabbits to use and it works great.
