I have a wire cage for Petey, and I have found that the junk mail catalogs make wonderful \"pads\" for Petey to sit on when he\'s not in his \"bed\" in the cage. They cover enough for him to sit on and to put goodies on w/o falling through the cracks but most of his pellets still fall through. He likes to nibble the catalogs too!
I have tried most of the beddings, and I like aspen, although it can be messy. Petey eats aspen, however, which I thought was a little weird. I would like to get those woodstove pellets you have mentioned. Also, the pet store has the little gray pellets that turn white when soiled, what are those? Are they expensive?
Last question: Is there a small hay feeder available at pet stores to attach to his cage so I don\'t have to \"update\" his hay all the time? Any suggestions?
