Rabbit Web Discussion Board

My six year old son desparately wants a rabbit. The one he has in mind is a spotted dwarf rex because it is like his kindergarten teachers. We live in south Georgia and cannot find one like this. We have never owned a rabbit before and wonder if this is a good breed for a child\'s (family\'s) pet and where in the world we can find one if it is. Can anyone help this mom?
