I replied to you two on the previous thread I made (oops) so thought I would make a new one so I was sure you saw it.
Anyway, thanks for the advice. I did end up calling my vet and they wanted Toots brought in to be looked at. The vet said his incisions looked great. She told me to watch him and if there is anymore blood to bring him back to treat a possible bladder infection. I was relieved his incisions looked good. Now just wondering about that blood on the floor. ?????? WHEW! Being a bunny Mama is hard work!!! But worth it, we love him to pieces!!!! Thanks again, Julie
I\'m glad Tootsie is OK. I would have been very concerned too.

My Petey is scheduled for his exam tomorrow so this post was interesting reading for me! I hate taking his food and water bottle away all night.... its breaking my heart. Will he thump all night?

Thank goodness the surgery is early a.m. Now I\'ll at least know
what to expect. Tx ladies

Glad to hear Toots is coming around!
Petey won\'t be too happy about missing his meal...hope the thumping won\'t keep you awake too much... Toungue

Thanks for the update. When I had my rabbits spayed/neutered, my vet said I didn\'t have to remove the food. The reason for removing the food is so an animal won\'t vomit, and since rabbits don\'t do that, there was no point in removing the food! The vet also had bring food with and he had them eating shortly after surgery.
