yup i have had my house rabbit since april
first of all, hide and pvc pipe up all your wires. you can also get aquairum tubing for this, and it works well.
they like to chew on carpet, thats pretty dangerous...
also dont let the rabbit have too much run of the house at a time. start small. like a side of the room, then half a room, then the whole room, the a little more of the next room.
have a few litter boxes laid out (depends on how much space he will have)
the rabbit, altered or not will probably place territorial dropings around the first few days, but more litter boxes can help this.
there is a good book called house rabbit handbook you can get at barnes and noble for around 11 dollars. it has TONS of tips that work.
you can use Xpens, baby gates, or NIC panles to keep the rabbit in the area you want it to stay in
