The American Livestock Breeds Conservancy (ALBC) is trying to save rabbit breeds from extinction. These breeds include: American, American Chinchilla, Silver Fox, Giant Chinchilla, Belgian Hare, Blanc De Hotot, Silver, Beveren, Lilac and Rhinelander. For more information check out:

good that they are trying to save them. in the future when i am more experiance with rabbits its one of my dreams to breed and show belgian hares.
I think Belgian Hares are one of the most interesting looking breeds of rabbits. I would hate to see the breed die out. I am glad people are working to save the different breeds. I have never even been to a show!
