Hi, AL here I have a question. I have a cage inside for my rabbit shadow. Every time I put him back in his cage he stats trying to scratch me. I had his nails trimed I just want to know why, If you know tell me and if you could how to get him to stop. Also it might help you to know I put him in from the top of his cage.
Thanks
Hey Al...

Many rabbits have a sense of falling when carried, so I\'m guessing as you lower him down towards the cage, he instinctively struggles to get free and \"save\" himself. (In the process, you gain a few \"battle scars\".)

Since Shadow is an inside rabbit, it might be a good idea to have a cage that opened from the front. Once Shadow had his feet firmly on the floor, you could open the cage door and encourage him to hop inside on his own. No more lacerations for you.

Good luck. Smile
