After, not finding a outdoor hutch, that I like, I decided to build one. The question is what stains would you recommend that are \"non-toxic\"?

If you want to build a framed outside hutch, rather than using wood (which can be knawed, harbors parasites, and germs, etc.), why don\'t you consider an angle-iron frame? No staining required, can be bolted together, painted (if you like), and is just about permanent.

Just a thought...
