My rabbit will not drink out of the water bottle. She only likes the bowl. She tips the bowl quite frequently and I would like to switch her. Any suggestions on how to do this?[color=red]
You could buy a heavy crock bowl at the pet shop that would not be so easy to tip. Otherwise, I have never done this, but this is my best guess on how to make the switch. Remove the bowl and leave the bottle in the cage at all times. Twice a day, put a bowl of water in the cage and remove after 15 minutes. Hopefully, your rabbit will accept the bottle within a week. Good luck.
Sometimes you just can not switch some rabbits.
Mine won\'t litter train.
After more than 40 years raising rabbits, I haven\'t yet met the rabbit that cannot be trained to drink out of a water bottle or automatic water system.
Try fixing the bottle so that it tends to drip slowly (loosen the cap).
Remove the crock. Your rabbit WILL drink, I promise. All I have ever really had to do is tap the end of the drinking stem with my finger. This causes water to drip. If the bunny is at all curious, he or she will come to investigate and see and smell the water. They are drinking from the bottle in no time.

Take out the crock take your bun over to the bottle, push the ball so water falls on the head and put carrot shavings on the end of the tube.
