I have a rabbit who is two years old. He does not let me hold him. The vet said he has a fear of heights. Has any one heard of this before or have holding tips?
Most rabbits do not like to be held. But with lots of \"practice\" they will feel more at ease. Make sure you have a secure grip on your rabbit, and gently stroke it to let it know you aren\'t going to drop it.

I have found the best way to hold/carry my rabbits is to flip them on their backs and hold them in the crook of my arm.
How I hold my rabbit is with my right hand under his rear end and my left hand on his back. Then I pet him a little bit to calm him down. Also, I put my pillow on my lap and He\'ll climb up on it. But never ever hold your rabbit by his ears.
