Let me introduce myself. My name is Tina. I got my first rabbit a white Flemish Giant a little over a year and a half ago. Since then we have adopted and rescued six more bunnies. We are getting two more rabbits in August.

I look forward to getting to know everyone. I also look forward to learning from y\'all and sharing what I know.

Thank you Harplady and Flopsy.

Hi Tina: We are new to this board also, and have found it extremely helpful already. Your post was very helpful--thank you.

Do you mind if we ask a few more ??. 1) We have a Florida White/Sable mix-- how big do you think Petey will get? 2) He is not neutered yet (he\'s 2 mos old), and we are trying to litter train. We bought a neat corner tray box, but he chooses to sleep in it and NOT pee in it. So we put a second box in another corner, and he seems to want to not go in it either. Do we just need to be more patient, or is he too young to train yet? 3) Will the wire cage hurt his feet? Is a wire cage ok? 4) Petey is black so his claws are black and I\'m scared to trim nails. Any suggestions?

Tx so much for your info. This Board is great!Big Grin

Not sure how big a sable will get. Depends on what breed and variety it is from. Floridas can weigh from 4-7 pounds.
