Hi
anybody know where to get a good quality outdoor hutch. Most of what I see are pretty small and crappy!

I might be crazy but I am thinking of an outside area and two inside rooms (one with a litter box)

thanks

I have found it\'s best to make your own outdoor hutches.. it\'s cheaper and you can get more creative! Wink
If you live in or near CT, and want some help making one, let me know.

heres a pic of one I built last weekend, (not finished totally yet)
There are numerous web sites that have plans on them for rabbit hutches. The most important thing I can think of if you build your own is to use the proper floor wire for them. It is alittle pricier but nothing is worse for a rabbit\'s feet than to be put on hardware cloth or chicken wire or whatever else is out there that is cheaper. A good floor wire is thick with spaces that are 1/2\'\' by 1\'\'. It allows the rabbit to be on the wire without getting sore feet and also allows the wastes to drop through so he is not sitting in them. Make sure that whatever you make is strong and secure enough to keep the rabbit in and anything else out. In my area, our local Theissens farm store sells 2 differant sizes of rabbit hutches that are actually pretty nice. If you are only needing 1 or 2, they would probably be alot easier to get and put together than to build one from scratch.
Ebay has some hutch plans for sale. You can also check (http://www.happyhutch.com) and click on \"plans,\" but I don\'t know how detailed their plans are. Also, you can do a web search for chicken coops for more ideas.
If you would concider a shed set up, go to (http://www.pets-on-the-net.com) and go to the rabbit forum and look for \"the shed is done and the bunnies have moved in\" and you will see pictures of a shed set up.
