I was debating weather or not to buy that rabbit secrets book(advertized on the main rabbit web page.) and I was wondering if anyone around here had any thought/opinions on it.
I was slightly worried about using a credit card for it(as it doesn\'t really have much info on that) it doesn\'t state weather or not the price is us or what, I am aware there are alot of users from the states, but I am in canada and there wasn\'t to much info about converting the amount or what ever either.

so that besides, I am curious what peoples opinions are weather or not you have ordered it, and how handy it is. I am sure I could take the time to compile information...but it would be nice to not have to sort all through a whole wach of information to come up with reliable information.
and it is nice to have a quick reference guide for when I don\'t remember things(which is alot unfortunatly, though not usually anything really important)

well there...
gotta run tuck everyone in bed for the night..

I have seen that but have not ordered it. I was tempted but I didn\'t like the website they have on it. All it is are pages of \"how wonderful\" the book is. that made me leary. hope I helped.
I have ordered a number of things on-line with my credit card and so far I haven\'t had any problems. The book sounds like a lot of hype. There are so many different views on how to keep rabbits, I don\'t think I would bother. Decide where you want to keep your rabbits, inside or outside, and then look for information that will help you do the best job. Think about your areas of interest; rabbit behavior, breeding, rabbit proofing your home, having a garden rabbit etc., and then post questions and I am sure someone could recommend a good site or a good book. Every time I listened to someone who claimed to know all the secrets, I have been sorry, because in the rabbit world, people are as passionate about their views on rabbits as they are about their religion! Good luck!
There are people out there who claim to know the secrets of every animal out there. My mom and I recently bought 2 dachsund puppies and we actually found 4 differant sites that claimed to know the secrets to these dogs. There is a horse secret site ect... The best book around on rabbits is the Rabbit Production or the free guidebood that you get when joining the ARBA. There are very few secrets left about rabbits. Get one of these good books, or any of the others you can find out there but you will find no new information by paying for someone\'s \'\'secrets\'\' about rabbits. On the other hand, if the site is secure, I have ordered on line using a credit card with no problems.
thanks, I have odered things online before (many times) and don\'t have much of an issue with that part of it, but I am not sure about this specific site, the website didn\'t come across as being very proffesional at all, so I thought to see if anyone else has dealt with this specific site. and if they had weather or not they thought it was worth it.
I don\'t believe the book is full of \'secrets\' but little things like that are handy to keep around sometimes. I normally find out things and write them down(or type them) and save them to refer back to, I kindof have to do that because I forget so much... so an e-book seemed like a good idea...

well thanx again.

I\'d recommend this book:

Raising Rabbits by Ann Kanable

I found this book on Amazon, and you can purchase a copy for less than $1 (without shipping).

It is very well written and is not biased. A good guide with lots of information.

Follow this link to get a copy:

Another non-bias book that tells a lot about rabbit behavior is: \"Why Does My Rabbit . . . ?\" by Anne McBride. And thank you Austin for pointing out the ARBA. I am not interested in rabbit breeding, so I never would have thought of them as a source of information for me. I will have to check them out.
While their organization is based toward the breeder, the book they put out is exceptionally good and your pet rabbits can also benefit from the information. You do not have to become a member to get this book. Just go to the ARBA site and go to their online store. It is relatively inexpensive (I think $10)
